Simi 4 Woodworks was established in 1987 when Jimmy Driscoll, seeking a fulfilling career, turned his passion for craftsmanship into a vocation. His journey began with a single custom entertainment center, and he launched the Woodworks banner to provide versatile woodworking services. Over the decades, he sharpened his focus, specializing in the design and construction of custom cabinetry.

After becoming licensed in 1994, the company met the sudden demand for repairs following the Northridge earthquake, leading to a period of continuous growth. That same year, the business expanded its expertise by crafting hospitality furniture for coastal inns in Pacific Grove. By 1997, Jimmy refocused his efforts locally, solidifying his reputation as a trusted resource for homeowners from Ventura county, to the valley.

In 2015, the company officially incorporated, broadening its service area to include Simi Valley and the neighboring communities of Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Calabasas, and Lake Sherwood.
Throughout this journey, Jimmy has remained devoted to the philosophy that "every job is the self-portrait of the man who did it".
